My Heart BEATS Maroon

Tonight I was holding Lexi close to my chest and she said, "Mommy, I hear your heartbeat."

"Oh, yeah? What does it sound like?" I asked.

"Da da da da da...da da...da da...(hullabaloo, caneck caneck, hullabaloo caneck caneck)

She sang the first few lines from the Aggie war hymn. Ahhhhhhh....I'm basking in the wisdom I've imparted to my 4 year old. So glad to know I'm leaving a legacy.
