Love Is In The Air

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I'm already planning my Valentine's Day treats. Target has the cutest little Valentine plates and cups (very cheap) I'm going to set the table with that morning. And I've been surfing the web to find some cute Valentine's breakfast ideas. Check these out...

Another idea...LOVE POTION as a drink. Just a berry mixed smoothie. So fun! Can't wait to surprise the loves of my life!

We have the heart shaped pancake things! I got them in the dollar section of Target. I love the little mice strawberries, too cute!

I just got little mailboxes to decorate for that morning so I can put little Valentine's in them for the kiddos.

We have a weird tradition here. You see, a long time ago my mom thought there should be something that came Valentine's Day morning to bring presents. The Easter Bunny comes on Easter and Santa comes for Christmas and Cupid brings love, not presents so she came up with the Valentine Armadillo. She believes Armadillos are ugly little rodents but that doesn't mean they don't need love too so the Armadillo brings us gifts. The kids go to bed early so they can wake up and see what the Armadillo brought them. Never anything much, a little candy and usually a stuffed animal but it's just a fun thing. Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I talk about the Valentine Armadillo but I guess you have to be from Texas to truely love an Armadillo!

That reminds me of that episode of Friends where Ross can't find a Santa costume so he dresses up like an Armadillo to teach his son about Hannakah. Then Chandler walks in dressed like Santa. Do you remember that one? Too funny!
