Uncharted Territory

This may seem like a dumb question to some of you technological whipper snappers, but HELP! The one area of uncharted territory I have yet to conquer in the area of technology is with streaming video. And it can't be rocket science because everyone's doing it. Please save me from doing the research b/c quite frankly, I don't have time! I want to put a video from my camcorder onto youtube or blogger video. How would I go about that? I want to put last night's video of my preschool handbell choir (which Lexi was in) on my blog so y'all can see what a hoot it was!

And if it's like most areas of technology, there's probably a gazillion ways to accomplish this one thing, so everyone who does this, please post how you go about it.
