3...2...1...BLASTOFF


We had the privilege of seeing the Space Shuttle Atlantis launch on Friday evening. This was one of those "Top 10 Things We HAD To Do Before We Die" kind of things. It was pretty cool! The closest you can get to the launch without a press badge or family pass is about 2 miles and that's about how far away we were. So we couldn't see that much other than a big streak of smoke heading upward. But still, something you gotta do at least once in your life!
