Sleeping Beauty's Very Unrestful Day

Is "unrestful" even a word? I don't really know! But nevertheless, you get the point! Saturday was very eventful. It all began by waking up early to take Nanny and Granny to the airport. We enjoyed their visit so much and hated to see them leave. After leaving the airport, we went to our first birthday party of the day, down the street. It was a Little Mermaid party with lots of outdoor water toys. The girls had a great time and were waterlogged! Three hours into that party, we said our goodbyes and came home to get cleaned up and transformed into Sleeping Beauty. She really was quite sleepy and even nodded off a few times in the car on the way to birthday party #2, but refused to mess up her hair by laying her hair on the carseat so her head just kept bobbing. Such a princess! I put make-up on her (that girl has eyelashes to die for) and curled her hair and put sparkly things in her hair with a crown. Of course the outfit would not be complete without the princess light up flip flops! Then we made our way to Disney's Grand Floridian restaurant, 1900 Park Faire, which serves the character dinners. Cinderella, Prince Charming, the wicked step sisters and step mother were our entertainment while we ate prime rib and salmon and chicken marsala and the best mashed potatoes I've ever had in my life. Oh, and a castle birthday cake, can't forget that! It was a very cute party, although I couldn't stop adding up the cost in my head. After party #2, we headed over to downtown Disney to see our good friends from Dallas, Gatlan and Denise, who are at Disney on vacation this week with their kiddos. Needless to say, Sleeping Beauty was wiped out and fell asleep in the car on the way home!

That's just wonderful....Our kids just saw this photo of her with Cinderella. That would be a fun party, an expensive one, but a fun one! Cinderlella makes things so magical!
