Texas Waffles...revisited

Remember this post? Well, when my mom came this past weekend for a quick visit, she told us she had a surprise in her suitcase for the WHOLE family (cause that's what Granny's do right...bring surprises??) And low and behold, it was THIS!

And all God's people said, "Amen".

Because no Texan should ever live without one. In my humble opinion.

And in case you're wondering, no, I did not top mine with maple syrup. I think you all know how I feel about that stuff. I topped mine with melted (just a smidgin) strawberry jam.

And is there a more appropriate plate to put a Texas waffle on than this??? That's what I call "Deep in the Heart of Texas". Ba da bing! Couldn't resist!

But oh wait, Al Gore would love this one. A hands-on science lesson...here's what global warming will do to our beloved state. Tragic!

A girl after my own waffle heart...I hate syrup!

Always top mine with berries or butter or jelly. Excellent stuff. :)

Thanks for linking to the M2M blogroll! Great to get to know you!
